Dear Sean,
Resurrection Conference of the Society of St Vincent de Paul Portland Council is extremely grateful for the $15,000 contribution that we received at Thanksgiving. These funds were used to provide 150 Thanksgiving dinners to families in need in the Portland Metro area. Any remaining funds will be used to provide rent and utility assistance to many families who have been adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

This has been a very difficult and challenging year for many, many Oregonians. The
response by you, and the organizations you support, has provided food and shelter
enabling many to remain safe in the community.

Your generosity is heartwarming and greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Fortify Holding is pioneering a new initiative we call Fortify Families.  Our program is designed to strengthen families in a time of crisis who may be at risk of having their children involved with the child welfare system.

With donations from additional private apartment owners, local companies, and compassionate individuals and families who believe in our mission,  Fortify Families is able to offer subsidized rent programs to help keep families together. We help the disadvantaged who are close to self-sufficiency but need a little extra help to achieve success

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Keys,

Thank you so much for the opportunity you have provided me with the Sean and Gretchen Keys Annual Scholarship. With this scholarship, I will continue my stay at the University of Portland and prepare for my health career. Last spring, I had let you know of my possibility of majoring in political science because of the internship at Congressman Earl Blumenauer's district office. Still, I decided to go back to the pre-health route.

I will be traveling to Granada, Spain, in the spring semester. While abroad, I will fulfill my core requirements while hopefully being able to intern at a hospital or look for volunteer opportunities that relate to the health field. If not for this scholarship, I would not have been able to study abroad, which makes me incredibly joyous. I cannot wait to be exploring the cities of Spain and learning about their unique culture while also preparing for my career.

Thank you again for your support and generosity. Because of donors like you, I will accomplish my dream of becoming a bilingual physical therapist.

Sincerely,

Sean and Gretchen Keys are a key component to helping kids from De la Salle North Catholic High School achieve their dreams through their support to award full tuition scholarships to deserving students with high financial need.

Even though Sean and Gretchen and Metropolitan Land Group are just starting their third college scholarship for De la Salle students to attend University of Portland, they have been active supporters of De la Salle for over a decade, including, guest speaking, mentoring, work study placement, hosting fundraisers, mock interviews, scholarship support. and internship Advisory Outreach.

Leading the way- making a dream come true Sean and Gretchen and Metropolitan Land Group were the initiating sponsors of the effort to get De la Salle students to be able to attend their dream school. When initial discussions revealed that while many De La Salle students applied to UP, many needed significant aid to pursue their dreams, Sean and Gretchen agreed to join a small group of lead donors in an effort to start the ball rolling.

Service to Community

With volunteer time and financial investments, Sean and Gretchen support local business, community, and charitable organizations that encourage and provide economic and educational opportunities and that serve and protect the vulnerable and those in need.
